Solving the Halloween Candy Conundrum

It's been over a week since Halloween, and your kids are asking "just one more piece?" This is a great idea to end the candy wars. Place coupons in a jar with things like "One more glass of hot chocolate or Watch 15 minutes extra TV or Stay up 10 minutes longer". Instead of candy your kids pick a coupon out the jar. Give it a try. Let me know your thoughts.

New Uses For Halloween Items

Your house will soon be haunted by leftover Halloween items. Especially, the
bags of candy your kids collected. Here's an idea: stock up on baking
supplies. Yes, chop leftover chocolate or candy corn and use in place of

picnik - Photo Editing On-line

picnik_-_Photo_Editing_On-line.zip (201 KB)

Thanks to a friend I go turned onto picnik which is an easy "no brainer"
on-line photo editing site. I am not kidding, it is so simple, quick and
easy anyone can edit their photos. All you have to do is upload a photo. I
got sucked into the process of changing, editing and playing. I love the
"create" section where you can put all different effects onto you image.
There are special effects for Halloween and in honor of Breast Cancer
Awareness month there are pink effects. You can also share your creations
directly from the site by printing, emailing or sending to Facebook, Twitter
and other on-line communities.

Apple Bites

Halloween is almost here and not soon enough. I couldn't resist posting.

Apple Bites

Ingredients
Apples
Slivered almonds

Instructions
Quarter and core an apple. Then, cut a wedge from the skin side of each
quarter, and press slivered almonds in place for teeth.
Tip: If you¹re not going to serve them right away, baste the apples with
orange juice to keep them from browning.
