The very first mocktail, as far as we know, was the Shirley Temple,
named after Shirley Temple. According to legend, a bartender made it
up to serve to the innocent Miss Temple during the raging Hollywood
parties of the 1930s. This Shirley Temple is made of club soda (or
lemon-lime soda,) ice, grenadine, and a maraschino cherry on top.
1. Encourage down time at home in order to allow the opportunity for
siblings to inter act.
2. Take family walks through your neighborhood.
3. Take family vacations without other families or friends.
4. Have family dinners to encourage conversation amongst siblings.
5. Stay out of your children's squabbles unless some one is getting
physically hurt.
Summer is a time to kick up your heals and let your hair down, swim,
